Terms of service

Effective 19 August 2026

These terms apply when you use the House After Midnight Studio Shopify store or purchase products offered through it. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by law.

Store information

House After Midnight Studio is the public-facing identity for this storefront. The store currently operates for customers in Australia. For customer-service enquiries, contact hello@houseaftermidnight.com. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless the store expressly states otherwise.

Products and information

We aim to describe products, formats, sizes, inclusions and availability accurately. Images and previews are illustrative of the product offered and must be read together with the listing description. Minor display differences can occur between devices, printing methods and physical production.

Orders and payment

An order is subject to acceptance, payment processing, product availability and any fraud or security checks. We may cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, a material pricing or listing error has occurred, or fraud or unlawful activity is suspected. Any customer rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.

Digital products

Digital products are supplied electronically. Unless a listing expressly grants broader rights, digital products are licensed for the purchaser's personal use only. You must not redistribute, resell, share, sublicense or commercially exploit the files except where the applicable product licence expressly permits it.

Intellectual property

Store content, original product content, artwork, branding and other intellectual property remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of intellectual property except to the extent expressly stated in a written licence.

Shipping, returns and refunds

The store's current Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy form part of these terms. They must be read subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Third-party services

The store relies on services provided by Shopify and may use payment, fulfilment, delivery or other third-party providers. Their involvement does not remove any rights or responsibilities that apply under applicable law.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the store's current Privacy Policy and applicable privacy obligations.

Changes

We may update these terms where reasonably required for operational, legal or platform reasons. The terms applying to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, subject to mandatory law.
